I have a Latitude D810 with an ATI X600 and a native screen resolution at 1920x1200.
Vista propose me only 1600x1200 and not more ??
When I install the ATI's driver beta for Vista, it will be ok but each time I start Vista, my screen resolution come back to 1600x1200. I can right click on ATI icon near the clock and select 1920x1200, it works but Vista can't save my setting. Each time, it come back to 1600x1200. I don't understand why ?
Can you help me ?
Thanks a lot for your help
Christophe

Resolution problem on my Dell Latitude D810
This may work, maybe it will not:
Try turning UAC off, rebooting, set the resolution you prefer, rebooting and see if it stays the same.

The UAC is already off. The problem is I can't choose my native resolution 1920x1600. The maximum Vista propose me is 1600x1200. I would like to choose more but how ?
Thanks for your help Christophe

I have that same problem, only I had 1920x1200 running with the ATI Radeon drivers for Vista for almost 2 weeks and after the long weekend returned to work and now 1600x1200 is the highest I can get. I've tried removing the ATI drivers and reinstalling them but I get the same thing. I don't believe I installed any recent updates either. Very odd.
